File formats

These are the formats supported by Catch Client

Images

For images we recommend using PNG. All Java™ MIDP 2.0 have support for PNG. Many devices also supports JPG and GIF but PNG is required in Java MIDP 2.0.

Since many device also have limited color space, try to avoid very color demanding effects like gradient fills, smoothed collages etc and keep the number of images to a minimum.

Sound

Currently Catch Client have no sound support.

Video

Currently Catch Client have no video support.
